HourSet — Support

Last updated: 23 August 2026

Email adriannehlee@gmail.com. One person reads it. You will usually have a reply in two working days.

HourSet has no account and no server. There is nothing at this end to look up or reset. Every answer below is something you do on your own phone.

How do I get my purchase back?

Open Settings, the gear at the top right of the main screen. Tap the first card, then Restore a purchase under the prices.

Sign in to the App Store with the same Apple Account that paid. A purchase belongs to the account, not to the phone. If the app says No earlier purchase found on this account, you are signed in as someone else.

How do I cancel?

In the App Store, not in HourSet. Apple takes the payment, so Apple stops it.

On your iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → HourSet → Cancel Subscription.

You keep what you paid for until that period ends.

The one-time purchase never renews. There is nothing to cancel.

How do I get a refund?

Only Apple can give one. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com. Sign in with the Apple Account that paid, then pick the purchase.

Why does it say today is a rest day?

Every exercise it would have picked uses a muscle that is still recovering. The screen names those muscles. It also says when something frees up.

Tap Train anyway to build a session with recovery ignored.

If Train anyway returns you to the same screen, recovery is not the cause. Something under What gets left out has removed every exercise. The next answer is the one you want.

Why is my session empty, or much shorter than I asked for?

Three lists filter every plan. Between them they can empty one. Open Settings → What gets left out. Each list shows how many things are in it.

Switch things back on. The next session is built without the filter.

If the lists are short and the session still is, the day is genuinely light. The plan screen says so when the time is what limits it.

How do I change what equipment I have?

Settings → What gets left out → Equipment I do not have.

Switched on means you do not have it. Only the equipment you have gets used. Start with a preset if one matches your gym, then switch items on or off.

How do I leave an exercise out?

On the main screen, tap the drawing of the exercise. At the bottom of the preview, switch on Not for me. It leaves this plan and every plan after it.

To change it for today only, use Swap on the same row. That picks another exercise for the same movement.

To put one back: Settings → What gets left out → Not for me.

How do I report a wrong drawing?

Email it. Every movement is drawn by hand, so a wrong one gets fixed.

Include:

How do I report anything else?

Email, and say:

The app sends a crash report when something goes wrong. The report carries no identifier, so it cannot be matched to your email. What you tell us is what makes the fault findable.

What happens to my training if I delete the app?

It goes with it. Your plan, your logged sets and your settings are on your phone and nowhere else. Uninstalling deletes them, and there is no copy to restore.

To clear the history and keep the app, use Settings → Clear logged history. Every logged set is deleted. Your plan and settings stay.

What does the app collect?

Nothing about you. The privacy policy sets out the two exceptions in full: the purchase check, and crash reports.
